Cynthia M. Hartung, Ph.D. (email)
Dr. Hartung grew up in Mt. Prospect, Illinois about 20 miles Northwest of Chicago. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Hartung earned her master's and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kentucky. She completed her internship at The University of Chicago Medical Center, a clinical postdoc at the Oregon Health Sciences University, and a research postdoc both at the University of Denver and University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her interests outside of clinical psychology include traveling, mountain biking, Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, and spending time with her family. In 2022-2023, Dr. Hartung completed a Fulbright Scholarship at the Norwegian University for Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.

John grew up in Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology and a minor in Evolutionary Studies from Albright College. Following undergraduate studies, he earned a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Clinical Psychological Science degree at the University of Maryland. Prior to graduate school, John worked two years as a research coordinator on an ADHD and substance use intervention grant while conducting assessments and providing treatment to participants in the study. John is currently completing his predoctoral internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. John enjoys running, biking, traveling, and exploring new places.

Emily grew up in McHenry, Illinois. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in English from North Central College. She played college softball where she was named an All-American and Academic-All American. Prior to coming to UW, she spent a summer working as a counselor at the Summer Treatment Program at Florida International University for kids with ADHD. Emily enjoys watching the Chicago Cubs, reading, hiking, and weightlifting.

Tamara was born in Syracuse, New York and grew up in the Middle East and Syracuse. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Syracuse University. Tamara then earned her master's degree in General Psychology from Stony Brook University. Prior to starting her master's program, she spent a year as a research coordinator at an ADHD lifespan, treatment, and education research lab. After completing her pre-doctoral internship at Nemours Children's Health in Delaware, Tamara graduated with her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming. She is presently completing a post-doctoral fellowship position at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C.Tamara enjoys traveling, writing, eating, and meeting new animals/pets.

Judah was a Teach for America corps member who taught Social Studies at a Title I high school in downtown Miami for two years. She continued teaching at-risk students in Birmingham as a middle school Spanish teacher. After completing an internship at Denver Health Medical Center, Judah graduated with her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming. She is presently completing a post-doctoral fellowship position in developmental pediatrics at Children's Hospital, Colorado. She enjoys time with her family and fur-babies, practicing yoga, and traveling to new places.

Patrick spent most of his life growing up in Fort Collins, Colorado where he was the second oldest of seven children. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Colorado State University. Prior to graduate school, Patrick worked two summers at the Summer Treatment Program for Adolescents with ADHD (STP-A), where he developed his interest in elucidating the development and maintenance of the challenges related to ADHD with the overall goal of improving treatment outcomes. After completing an internship at Duke University Medical Center, Patrick graduated with his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming in 2019 and completed his postdoc at Seattle Children's Hospital. Patrick currently has his own private practice, Practical Psychological Services, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Patrick’s interests outside of academia include CrossFit, road biking, auto racing (e.g., Formula 1), hockey, hiking, and nerding out.

Currently, Chris is an Assistant Professor at Penn State Behrend. Outside of his schooling, Chris enjoys keeping up on the latest computer/tech news, working with horses, and trying new recreational hobbies such as sky diving, cross country skiing, and scuba diving.
